Lookahead Mobile App
Lookahead does not use information for any marketing purposes, or share with any third party. We collect only the information necessary for the proper functioning of the app. We respect privacy of the individuals.
By using the Lookahead app, you authorize us to store the data that you post on your behalf, any data that our app collect for the proper function and for creating value for our user base and release us from any indemnity that may arise because of any unforeseen reasons.
- Email and phone number for authorization purposes.
- User preferences and settings that may include name and location.
- Location data to customize your app experience.
- User contact list for easy contact finding and task collaboration.
- Users' Profile Image / Avatar to use as icon for the messages within the app.
Contact List:
- Permission: Our application accesses a user's contact list only after user's explicit permission and consent through platform's standard APIs.
- Purpose / Use: By accessing the user's contact list on the phone, the app makes it easy for a user to enter a contact via search functionality. The published app has the screenshot of its use.
- Storage: The contact list is not persisted on the disk and is stored in-memory for the duration of finding a contact.
- Sharing: The contact list does not leave the device, nor is shared with any other parties.
User's Profile Image:
- Permission: Our application collects user's profile images/icon/avatar only upon user's explicit upload from the device.
- Purpose / Usage: The uploaded profile icon is shown to the user's message collaborators - that are within the user's contact list - so that other collaborators can quickly identify the user's through their avatar.
- Sharing: It is not shared "outside the app" or with anyone "outside user's contact list" or "to any outside third party".
